AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW (YOUR RIGHTS)
Under Australian Consumer Law, our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
FULL WARRANTY TERMS
In addition to your statutory rights, Par Taps provides an extended warranty covering repair or replacement of defective products due to manufacturing faults or materials.
- Repairs will be carried out as promptly as possible
- Repairs may involve new or refurbished parts
- Products may need to be returned for assessment
- Replacement items may vary if discontinued
- Warranty applies to original purchaser only
- Proof of licensed installation may be required
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS (FULL DETAILS)
Warranty does not apply where:
- Installation is not completed by a licensed tradesperson
- Installation does not meet required standards
- Care and maintenance instructions are not followed
- Products are modified or repaired without approval
- Incorrect water pressure or temperature conditions exist
- Products are used in non-potable or unsuitable systems
- Non-approved fittings or components are used
- Damage occurs from water hammer or system faults
- Damage occurs due to poor system flushing
- Finish damage occurs post-installation
- Product is misused, neglected, or abused
- Product is custom-made or special order
- No proof of purchase is provided
- Product is not purchased through an authorised reseller
- General wear and tear occurs
